I am Western North Carolina born and raised, but Tennessee stole my heart along the way. (I'm looking at you, Memphis.) Currently, I live back and forth between the two.
I write about life; both as it is and as heaven on earth should be. Jesus & Me is my most common topic, but you'll also catch me carrying on about a broken world, a crippled church, and all the ways each of us needs Jesus and community.
Soft music and written words are the keys to my heart, but a good documentary will make me cry every time, too. Especially if it's a documentary about orphans, or Africa, or if someone sings in a language foreign to me.
I'm all about coffee and people and love. Those things go together like the Trinity in my world.
Cam thinks you should also know I'm most notable for snarky comments and belly-laughter. I am a lover of the oppressed and hopeless, and where my head is hard my heart is not. To see the gospel captivate the lives and hearts of the lost is my soul's fiery passion. I am a firm believer that there is no room for hatred in the gospel of Jesus. (Cameron writes things about me that I could never credit myself for. That's why she's my soul sister.)
